David is a state and nationally licensed acupuncturist.  He has been practicing with good clinical results for many years.   David studied Chinese Medicine in Austin, Texas with some of the country’s top Chinese medical doctors.  David’s training includes a four year master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, which involves the practice of acupuncture, moxabustion, cupping, and other adjunct therapies.  He is also nationally certified in the creation and dispensing of Chinese herbal formulas. 

David practiced first in Austin where he co-founded a successful acupuncture clinic and refined his  traditional needling technique. 

Wanting to return to Tennessee, David was hired into a multi-disciplinary medical center where he had the opportunity to see and treat many complex health issues. Several years of practice in Chattanooga have given David a broad base of people to work with. His belief in whole health, and in working in conjunction with other health care providers when necessary, underlies the foundation of his practice.  

As a native of Tennessee, David finds great pleasure in bringing Chinese medicine to Chattanooga, and more recently, Sewanee areas.
